100 Godd Wish Quilt

Well I've received 57 squares to date for our 100 Good Wish Quilt.

I sent out three different fabrics to my yahoo groups for the quilt swaps and saved a square of each fabric for my quilt and I want to get two of Michaels tee shirts with his company logos...I will need to add a backing to that material so that it will last as long as the other squares. I'm also planning on picking a couple of pieces from Lucy and Cosmo, me and Michael to be added with wishes.

I'm getting some from my co-workers on Monday...thanks Kate, Sheron and Melinda!

Cindy has six squishes that she keeps forgetting to give me they are from Cindy & Rick, Samantha, Eric, Alex, Pickles and Princess--they all picked out their own fabric for our girl!

Lisa gave her squish to Nicole and I haven't received it yet...I hope Nicole didn't lose it like she lost hers.

Nicole needs to find the one she lost or get me another one pronto.

Scott said that he was sending me NE Patriots material with a wish...we are waiting on this.

Brian and his family, I haven't heard a peep from them so I don't think that anything will be received from them. :o(

Paul's wife asked my sister if all their kids could send one but I haven't heard anything from them. :o(

Mom keeps forgetting, but I'm going to get on her. Aunt Helen is coming home with her and she will make sure that we get a squish from Nana and Gumpy!!

So between all the e-mail reminders and letter that we sent I think this is it...thank goodness for the yahoo groups!! I wouldn't have much of a quilt with out your squishes.

I'm very surprise by the number of squished that I'm NOT getting. I guess that I just get caught in my own little world and I think that everyone else is going to want to participate in my things and that just isn't the case...we all have are own things that are going on that are special to each of us...so I completely understand.

So this brings me up to approximately 73 squares. Nana has extra material that I can use, but I really wanted 100 pieces from different people...but, what can you do.

I'm now starting to look into quilting lessons...this might be something that I can do for our daughter instead of sending it out...I'm going to a quilt shop that I found in Beverly next week to take a look around...it would be great if I could make it myself for her and make it that much more special.

If the quilting classes work out, I may even try my hand at other things...but, one step at a time. I need to make sure this is going to work for me or if I'm going to get too aggravated with it and then I'll have to send it out.

I'll keep you posted.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR GOOD WISHES AND SQUARES...THIS QUILT IS SO FULL OF LOVE AND IT'S GOING TO LOOK GREAT!!
